Dr. Efird started his career as a clinician and quickly progressed through the ranks as a health care operations executive.  Dr. Efird most recently served as President of a publicly traded healthcare system, overseeing all aspects of operations, marketing, and business development for more than thirty facilities with a multi-state footprint.  Dr. Efird committed himself to the entrepreneurial healthcare space early in his career when he founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Diagnostic and Interventional Spine Centers of Texas, a multidisciplinary practice that created a network of allopathic spine teams. He has two decades of experience as a performance-driven business owner, operator, and strategic advisor for clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.  Dr. Efird has successfully developed and implemented strategic plans for revenue cycle management, clinical operations, sales, business development, physician alignment, expense optimization, and acquisition execution and integration, resulting in increased revenue and streamlined operations for his clients and businesses. Dr. Efird lives in Sugar Land, has three energetic boys who keep him on his toes. In his limited free time he enjoys spending time at the family ranch, coaching youth sports teams and golfing. 

Mrs. Strickland earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University before moving to Houston. She has worked in healthcare since 2002, and is passionate about partnership management and business development. Since 2011 Mrs. Strickland has managed the surgeon partnerships and led business development efforts of twelve Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Surgical Hospitals for three major healthcare providers. Coming from an orthopedic and spine medical device background, assisting surgeons across the greater the Houston area find the perfect facility to bring their patients was a natural transition. Born in Nebraska and raised in Southern California, Houston was intended to just be a stop along the way and has become her beloved home. In her free time she enjoys spending time on Lake Travis with her husband and two dogs, cooking, traveling and trying new restaurants.
